ADDRESSING SPECIFIC SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL ISSUES

Spiritual assistance can be provided to one with such specific needs as dealing with loss and grief, coming to forgiveness, changing an unhealthy thought or behavioral pattern, resolving a relationship struggle, releasing people or events of the past. Any sincere aspiration to improve oneself or one's life is certainly in harmony with the Creator's plan for you, and has the unwavering support of the Universe. The compassionate Spirits delight in your efforts and rally to provide you the clarity, strength and direction you need to fulfill these aspirations.

HOUSECLEARING/ HOUSE BLESSING

This entails a cleansing ceremony to prepare a new home for occupation or to clear a home of unwanted energy that may be there as a result of an illness, physical or verbal abuse, substance abuse, trauma or death, or left by previous residents. Sometimes one experiences an "uneasy feeling" in the home and this energy needs to be cleared. A houseclearing will be of benefit where there has been conflict in the home. Even the negative energy of constant bad news or violence emanating from one's television may be cleared away.

A house blessing may be a ceremony of blessing in preparation for occupation, and in celebration and welcoming for a family entering their new home.

DIVINATION (SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE)

A request can be carried by the shamanic practitioner on behalf of a client who requires guidance or problem solving regarding matters of importance to the client. The clients questions are taken to the Helping Spirits and the Spirits answers are relayed to the client (in the client's presence).

The Corn Oracle

Dara Harvey offers a unique form of divination based on ancient traditions of casting and then reading objects on a cloth. The Corn Oracle comes from the Healing Spirits with whom Dara works. The oracle offers insight and guidance for the upcoming lunar cycle, approximately 30 days. The Spirits will also offer guidance and an overview for the year. Based on the principals of growing corn, advice and healing are offered in how to bring into balance ones inner and outer life. With this balance one can then co-create the story one wishes to live.

Receiving such counsel is beneficial anytime in ones life. Particularly important times for a casting are at life transitions, when one has relationship or health issues, or when needing guidance in making decisions regarding career, travel, and personal growth. The seeking will deepen your personal connection with Spirit.

ASSISTANCE TO THE DECEASED

This is a traditional role and service of a shaman, assisting one who has passed into the next world to move on into "the light". This help can be given to one who has recently died, or one whom others believe may be "stuck", perhaps because of a sudden or violent death.

CEREMONIES AND RITUALS

Again, this is a traditional role and service of a shaman, to assist individuals or the community to celebrate or otherwise mark the significant passages or events in life by providing the Helping Spirits guidance in preparing and/or conducting a needed ceremony or ritual.
